Jewelry Sector Export Champion Ahlatcı Received Its Award from President Erdoğan

Ahlatcı, the jewelry sector export champion, was presented with two awards at once. It received the 2025 jewelry sector export first-place award from Minister Yumaklı, and the award for being one of Türkiye’s top 10 exporters across all goods in 2025 from the hands of President Erdoğan.

The 33rd Ordinary General Assembly of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) and the ‘Champions of Export’ awards ceremony were held on 26 June 2026 at the Istanbul Haliç Congress Center with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı, Justice Minister Akın Gürlek, Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi and other high-level officials.

Awards were presented by President Erdoğan to the top 10 companies that contributed most to the USD 395.9 billion in goods and services exports realized in 2025 by 140 thousand exporting firms operating under 27 sectors and 61 exporters’ unions. Ahlatcı Holding Chairman of the Board Ahmet Ahlatcı was present at the ceremony to receive the award.

AHLATCI’S JEWELRY SECTOR EXPORT CHAMPIONSHIP CROWNED WITH TWO AWARDS

Ahlatcı Holding Chairman of the Board Ahmet Ahlatcı received the 2025 jewelry sector export championship award from Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, and the award on behalf of Ahlatcı Holding for ranking 10th in Türkiye’s overall goods exports from the hands of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Answering questions after the ceremony, Ahlatcı Holding Chairman of the Board Ahmet Ahlatcı said: “This year we are thrilled and delighted to be deemed worthy of two awards, both in the jewelry sector and among the top ten in Türkiye’s total exports. Receiving our award from the hands of our esteemed President is especially meaningful. As always, we continue without slowing down, producing and serving as a driving force for the country’s economy and its exports. We know very well that, together with all our companies under Ahlatcı Holding, we must increase our product diversity in exports and always stay one step ahead in global competition, and we are working toward this goal.”

Stating that the “Ahlatcı” brand, which breaks export records every year, was built on a principled stance and a win-win approach, Ahlatcı Holding Chairman of the Board Ahmet Ahlatcı said: “In line with the export targets set under the leadership of our esteemed President, and with the morale and strength we draw from the support he never withholds from us, Ahlatcı Holding will continue to play an active role in both the domestic and global markets. WE SEE THE EXPORTER AS A STRATEGIC FORCE THAT TRANSCENDS BORDERS

Underlining that the locomotive of the economy must always be production and exports, TİM President Mustafa Gültepe, who was re-elected, made the following assessment: “Today, the economic power of countries is measured not only by the resources they own but also by their capacity to sell what they produce to the world. From this perspective, exports mean investment, production, employment and, of course, foreign currency. Exports are the strongest guarantee of economic independence. Therefore, we see the exporter not merely as someone who produces and sells, but as a strategic force that invests in Türkiye’s future and transcends borders.”

PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN: WHAT WE USED TO EXPORT IN A YEAR, WE NOW EXPORT IN A WEEK

Noting that exports of medium-high and high-technology products rose from USD 10 billion in 2002 to USD 112 billion in 2025, President Erdoğan said: “What we used to export in a year, we now export in a week. I once again congratulate our companies and business people who were deemed worthy of the Champions of Export award.”
